The Run4UNI will take place on Saturday, October 19th at 8 a.m. A four(4)-mile race that takes place throughout the University of Northern Iowa's campus and ends at the 50-yard line of Stan Sheriff Field inside the UNI-Dome. For those that don't wish to run four miles, there is also a one(1)-mile loop you may participate in. Proceeds go towards UNI Athletics and help support all of our student-athletes!
A reception will take place after the race on the UNI-Dome Concourse until 11 a.m. UNI Football hosts South Dakota at the UNI-Dome. It is also Family Weekend for UNI with activities all across campus.
The cost is $35 for the four(4)-mile loop and $25 for the one(1)-mile loop. The registration fee includes race dues, a t-shirt and a ticket to Friday night's volleyball match against Drake at the McLeod Center. Extra tickets for the volleyball match may be purchased by calling the UNi athletic ticket office at 319-273-4849.
There will be a $100 Scheel's gift cards for the top overall male and female finisher. We will also have two raffles for a chance to win a pair of new running shoes courtesy of Threshold Timing and Runner's Flat.
Packet Pick-up;
October 17th & 18th , 8:00-5:00 p.m. in the Panther Scholarship Club Office (NW Corner of the UNI-Dome)
October 18th, 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the McLeod Center at the volleyball game
October 19th, 7:00-8:00 a.m. in the UNI Dome
The deadline to register and guarantee a t-shirt is Wednesday, October 9th. On-line registration will close on Friday, October 18th at 8 p.m. Day of registration will be from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m.
*Everyone is encouraged to pick up their packet the week of the race, and by Friday at 5 p.m. The ticket included in the registration is for the volleyball match taking place on Friday, the evening before the race.
